The sun’s first rays caught my eye
Reflecting in them was the sorrow no one could read.
Got up from my bed and started to rise
For another day filled with lie, deceit and cheat.
It's like ink splattered on a page
That get tossed and thrown around.
I’ve started to realize of late
That it was time a reason of life had to be found.
It's been an inferno so unreal
Yet scaring the daylights out of me.
This guilty time holds everything still
I seem to remember things unseen.
We wish to write our self a new identity
I’m tired of seeing this hate everywhere.
Don't need another day of people ignoring me
Not another day of being wasted away.
All the pain has come uncalled for
Bringing with it a thousand things more.
I find myself upon a locked door
The screaming inside me has driven me sore.
I realized, made a decision
Won't ever look back again.
Keep washing away sin after sin
Each day like a new tear of rain.
