Along with beautiful petals, sepals
& beautiful elegance and majesty,
Constitutes the African great water lily.
Amidst an uncountable species of flowers
It stays one of its kind,
And raises its head with dignity.
Well known with its beauty it is known
To bear a curse with itself_
This makes it die as soon,
As it is born with unrivalled beauty.
It is known to have caused death
Of a joey_which it was cursed of,
To die as soon as born, by a clivet;
Who was believed to be the friend of the dead.
Till then it has beared the curse
With obedience, simplicity & which
Will leave a black spot in its beauty, majesty.
