Thick cardboard and an empty ball-point refill.
1. Observe the drawing carefully and draw the circle with the serrated edges on a piece of square cardboard.
2. Cut out the shaded portions carefully.
3. Now, observe the drawing and draw the inner pattern of the circle.
4. Next, make a tiny hole in the centre of the circle and insert the empty ball point refill.
5. Spin the wheel. The outer circle will appear to spin in the opposite direction to the inner circle.
Dimdima is the Sanskrit word for ‘drumbeat’. In olden days, victory in battle was heralded by the beat of drums or any important news to be conveyed to the people used to be accompanied with drumbeats.
