Which method is better for environment education- classroom workshops or outdoor excursions?

Aishwarya 8-Oct-2006	Outdoor excursions are better for environment education because they include fun BUT NOT ON SUNNY DAYS, we feel too tired to observe anything.
Harpreet 10-Oct-2006	As we all know that today so many cases have come up about global warming, so who is responsible for it? It's the uneducated people who do not know that how much useful the trees are. In today's modern generation environmental education should be made compulsory. If the coming generation will not know the uses of our environment then how can we spread the awareness. Environmental education doesn't mean that you have to just learn for the heavens sake so that you get good marks,but to recall it at every time you face a hunter or a poacher. At last we all should take a pledge to save our environment and not let it get destroyed.
mamta 21-Dec-2007	In my opinion environment education should be outside. Because then children can feel what is nature then they can enjoy with nature. Because we know that practical always gives us best result comparision of thoery. Thoery is good but if we are telling about environment then it should be outside classes.
