Across the Page,
They tell a story,
In a special way,
What is a Poem?
Rhyming words that capture our dreams,
Take our thoughts,
Into a world,
Of a private mind,
Why do we have Poems?
A faded, thick book on the side of our bed,
For us to read,
And immerse,
Into the scene,
Where did Poems begin?
Creatively crafted and shaped on paper,
For the young and old,
With unlimited words,
To be remembered,
This the Meaning of Poem,
A picture that is not, but is imagined...
