This life is getting bored with me,
When those giants can have their morning tea.
My friends are pretty
However, I am a bit ugly
And if you want to know, why I am this ugly
Then it is all because of my broken eye.
All my friends get a new home so fast
But my home is this shop until the last.
At all times I see through the window a beggar boy,
Who too is like me without an eye.
He is lucky: he at least has a life
That can talk, move, play and even cry.
But due to my fate, I even lack that.
I have heard the giants in my home decide,
To throw me forever into the thrash.
But they don’t do it, since I am the oldest of all
Who may turn eighteen now or then.
Until one day, a boy stole me from my home,
But happily, he was none other than the beggar boy.
And today proudly, I am his only companion
And he is the only one for me.
