Busting forth O’er boulders and rocks flows
the river wild yet serene,
So reckless in its form oh! So pure, so clean.
Meandering through gorges, gliding through mountains
Crossing all barriers, fighting all strains,
And so, it wriggles its way home...A mission,
Fuelled by one thing, just that one li'l thing called hope!
’Cause every time you are down,
You always have hope to fall back on;
And remember that when everything else fritters,
Trust hope, it ne’er falters.
When your dreams come crumbling down
And the castles you built in air come crashing down,
Never let despondency lead your way
’Cause, Rome, they say, was not built in a day.
So, get ready to take o’er the world.
Yes! The world is at your feet
And hope is all you need! |
