Poverty is a burning problem of our society. Poverty is directly related to the poorer section of the society,i.e. those who are not rich. Though there are a lot of programmes nowadays,to abolish poverty, they have become successful. In my opinion, unemployment and illiteracy leads to poverty. We,the children, may not be able to do anything in the matter of unemployment. But, we can contribute to make some of the people literate around us. Most of us have maids in our houses who don't know to read and write. We can at least teach them the alphabets,to write their names and to do counting. This will definitely help them. If the whole India is able to attain 100% literacy like Kerala,obviously our country will progress in economic sectors. Thus, I think poverty can be removed to a great extent,from our society.
