A boy went to a shop and handing a ten-rupee note to the salesgirl asked for a chocolate bar.
"CHIC or CHOC?" she asked. The boy asked for CHOC.
CHIC and CHOC are two brands of chocolate bars. CHIC costs Rs. 9 and CHOC, Rs.10.
A little later another boy came to the shop and placing ten rupees on the counter asked for a bar of chocolate. The salesgirl gave him a bar of CHOC.
Why didn't she ask him which brand he wanted?
Dimdima is the Sanskrit word for ‘drumbeat’. In olden days, victory in battle was heralded by the beat of drums or any important news to be conveyed to the people used to be accompanied with drumbeats.
