Once a beautiful golden Bird lived in a jungle. She used to sing sweet songs. When she sang shiny pearls fell from her open beak. Once a bird catcher had spread his net in the jungle. The poor golden bird was caught in it. The bird catcher took the bird home and kept it in a golden cage. She wanted to enjoy her freedom. She did not sing at all and the hunter never got any pearls.
The bird catcher gifted the golden bird to the king. The king gave the bird to the princess.
The princess was a beautiful girl. She was very kind at heart.
She at once freed the golden bird. The bird was so happy that she sang aloud and soon a shower of pearls fell in the room of the princess.
From that day onwards the golden bird came to meet the princess everyday and sang for her.
