Should community service be made mandatory?
I think community service should be made optional. If community service is made compulsory then people even if they have a small wish of doing social work will lose interest in doing so. So doing community service should be left to the interests of the people.

Hi! I am Gulabi. I am a student in singapore and here community service is mandatory. I must agree that it has really broadened my vision and made me realize that we must try to do our best to those out there who need it. Today's children are pampered and I can see the society is going in the wrong direction. By introducing community service at a young age, who knows, even the possibility of future terrorists might decrease!

I believe that community service should be mandatory for everyone, due to the fact that everyone should learn for each other experiences.
