The Chameleon is known primarily for its ability to change colour-from green to brown to different shades of yellow to white and even to black. But another amazing feature about this animal is its eyes. They rotate constantly and independently of each other. So while one eye is looking straight ahead, the other can be looking sideways or even backwards. The eyes will only stop rotating once prey has been sighted and the chameleon has decided it needs a meal.
